Tofino is only 30 mins north of Ucluleet and there are many beaches in between the two towns. Wild Pacific Trail is one of the prettiest hikes in the world and that is well worth going to see. The Wild Pacific Trail is south of Ucluelet about 2 miles and has a very nice trail. Big Beach is also worth visiting and there is a public access, however you must find parking in the Community Center across the street. Just north of Ucluelet about 10 mins is the Wickaninnish Beach that also has a restaurant overlooking it. As you keep driving up there are many small and large beaches to explore and enjoy the natural beauty. Long Beach is the most popular. Chesterman Beach is rated one of the top 25 beaches in North America and is north of Long Beach. There are many beaches and trails in between Ucluelet and Tofino and the Tofino guide is great resource for beaches and trails with incredible pictures that will leave with a large itinerary for coming to visit the west coast.
